In December 2021, a Grievance Committee publicly reprimanded Pantea Pourabbas for accepting responsibility for a case when she knew or should have known it was beyond her experience and competence. In the same month, Don L. Jarvis Jr. received a three-year active suspension for neglecting a case entrusted to him and neglecting communication with his client; and the Supreme Court of Texas accepted the resignation, in lieu of discipline, of Courtney Dawn Croft Blankenship.
